Top 40 Music Singles of the 80's, 90's, and New Millenium

In this section of the site I'm going to outline what I feel are the best top 40 music singles starting with 1980 and continuing with every year through 2009. You're not going to find many slow songs on my "best of American top 40 music" lists. I like uptempo music and don't mind plenty of bass or heavy drum and guitar sets. Old school rap, dance/hip hop, and alternative rock are my favorite musical genres and you'll see that reflected in my rankings of top 40 music singles.
